Ben Hardy - PREC*
Ben Hardy is the founder and President of The Hardy Real Estate Team. Ben has 16 years of real estate sales and marketing experience, seeing and growing through both up and down markets, he has consistently ensured his clients maximize their real estate investments. Ben’s enthusiasm for helping people buy and sell homes and a commitment to working harder than the next guy is the foundation of his success. He regularly attends industry workshops and seminars to learn about current trends and developments in real estate. He has been able to teach marketing classes for local High Schools in the Valley, always trying to give back and inspire the up and coming business people of tomorrow. By using the latest in technology and marketing techniques, Ben and his team is able to consistently provide superior service to his clients.
Tim Barrett was born in Enderby BC, but has been a resident of Abbotsford since 1971, he was raised in South Poplar on an acreage and has always appreciated the rural landscapes and stunning scenery that Abbotsford has to offer. Tim is a dedicated father to 2 wonderful children, ages 15 and 13 and thoroughly enjoys all the time he gets to spend with them. He has owned several residential and industrial properties in Abbotsford, starting his real estate investing at the age of 19. His professional background includes; 11 years running a successful, local family business and over 30+ years as an accomplished, professional saxophone player, having studied on a full scholarship at Arizona State University and with some of the world’s finest players in New York.
Tim loves to give back to his community and plays in the RE/MAX All Stars, a 10 piece classic R&B band comprised of RE/MAX agents from Kelowna to Victoria, that donate all of their performances to the Children’s Miracle Network, BC Children’s Hospital and other local charities. As well, he donates a portion of each of his sales to the CMN and BC Children’s Hospital and is an 18 year member of the local Kiwanis charity for kids, past president 2007-2010. Tim recently held the position of Director of Special Events for the Abbotsford 2016 BC Summer Games.

Being retained as advisor to the Hardy Project Marketing team, Troy Steine brings over three decades of experience as a recognized and award-winning expert in new home marketing and sales.
Troy designs powerful sales and marketing direct response strategies for the sales of new homes, townhomes, and condominiums that have been phenomenally successful to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars in new home sales. Troy has years of experience working with salespeople, providing custom training for expanding their sales skills and ensuring the highest level of positive customer experience for all clients of Hardy Project Marketing.
Administrative Manager, UA**
Shelby joined the Hardy Real Estate Team in 2013 and has over 15 years of experience in the real estate industry. As the Administrative Manager for the Team, Shelby supports our Realtors and works with our clientele to provide long-lasting and memorable relationships. Shelby strives to consistently live out The Hardy Team Mission Statement: to see all our clients well-informed, thoroughly cared for and ultimately enjoying the process of buying and selling real estate.
Prior to joining Hardy Real Estate Team, Shelby worked as an award-winning Realtor in Abbotsford with RE/MAX. She has provided Project Management and Customer Service Training to innovative start up retailers and non-profits organizations. She has also provided consulting services to BC Retailers in sales, human resources and marketing. Shelby is proud to be a life-long resident of the Fraser Valley and calls Abbotsford home with her husband and two daughters.

Athena is the Marketing Specialist for the Hardy Real Estate Team. Athena brings over 10 years of traditional and digital marketing experience from a variety of organizations and non-profits. Gifted with a sharp mind, and innate ability to connect with others through creative marketing efforts, Athena’s greatest strengths lies in her passion to produce exceptional strategies to help grow the team.
As a resident of Mission since 1994, Athena is extremely passionate about community involvement. She currently volunteers with the Wonder Women Society on their leadership team, works within her photography business to raise money for local charities, and contributes her time to mentor young entrepreneurs during the start-up phase. Besides her love of creative thinking, Athena enjoys expanding her knowledge through reading and podcasts, networking, travel, and spending time with her family.
